Forever Fabulous Sale – August 5th

During the Forever Fabulous Sale, there were sooo many products were on sale for up to 50% off. Although there were plenty of enticing deals, I tried to only get products that I would use either immediately or very soon.
Formula 10.0.6 Soak Your Face Intensive Hydrating Full Face Sheet Mask ($7.49, Sale – $5.24)
Whenever I’ve tried something from Formula 10.0.6, I have never been disappointed. This sheet mask had me at mineral spring water and hyaluronic acid because I cannot resist a hydrating sheet mask, and getting 3 masks for $5 is a steal!
Soap & Glory Magnificoco Drop In The Lotion Body Lotion ($12, Sale – $8.40)
I am almost finished with the hand cream I keep in my office, so I chose this as a replacement. Although I love the Deep Moisture Body Milk because the texture is thicker than the Drop In The Lotion Body Lotion, I wanted something different. Plus, I really like the Magnificoco scent and this body lotion gives the skin a beautiful glow.
Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Deep Moisture Body Milk ($12, Sale – $8.40)
After the sale and coupons, I paid less than for the moisturizer. The Smoothie Star is not only my favorite Soap & Glory scent, the Deep Moisture Body Milk is one of the best moisturizers. I bought this to use in my bathroom after washing my hands.
TonyMoly Master Lab Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet ($4, Sale – $3)
If you have seen my empties from several months ago, then you know this is one of my favorite sheet masks, and I always use a sale as an opportunity to haul it.
Diamond Earn 4X Points – August 7th – 9th

When it comes to Ulta, I hardly pass the opportunity to rack up bonus points. This time around, I was in a buying hair care kind of mood.
Kreyòl Essence Haitian Black Castor Oil – Rosemary Mint ($24)
I’m almost finished with my current bottle of Kreyòl Essence, so it was time to buy a replacement. Since I had an excellent experience with this, I want to continue using it.
Pattern Jojoba Oil Hair Serum Self-Heating Packs ($15)
As soon as I saw this, I was instantly intrigued. I always use an oil during my pre-poo treatment, but I don’t usually heat up the oil before slathering it on my strands. Having the oil self-heat could give me the benefit of a hot oil treatment without all the effort.
Pattern Travel Size Leave-In Conditioner ($9)
I’ve been wanting to try everything from Pattern since the brand came out, so I buy something of interest whenever I can. I love that they offer products in travel size, so I can try it out without breaking the bank or wasting product.
Spend $50, Get 250 Points – August 13th – 16th

My biggest haul of the month, and it was full of that new, new!! Despite my best efforts of not buying makeup, I couldn’t resist.
E.L.F. Cosmetics Bite Size Eyeshadow Palette – Hot Jalapeño ($3)
Since E.L.F. released these tiny palettes, I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews. I was intrigued as I have become more interested in small palettes. Out of all the color stories, the green caught my eye the most. Hopefully, it translates on my eyelids because I’m still skeptical about the quality of a $3 eye shadow palette.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gentle Cleansing Lotion ($11.99)
I am always on the hunt for a good cream cleanser. Although I have a couple of faves, I am always looking for more to keep in the rotation. I like the Hydro Boost sheet mask and sunscreen, so I decided to try their version of a cream cleanser.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask ($3.99)
Although it’s hard to keep this mask on my face, I always come back to it because it’s soooo hydrating and makes my face feel plump and soft.
Pattern Shower Brush ($17)
I’ve been going back and forth about buying this brush, and I finally took the plunge after seeing a tweet from a hairstylist that it’s best to use a brush instead of a wide tooth comb to detangle 4C hair. After my scalp improved once I followed her advice about always shampooing my hair twice, I didn’t think twice about switching from a comb to a brush.
Too Faced Travel Size Damn Girl! 24-Hour Mascara ($13)
This will be my second time trying to try this mascara. The first tube I got had a brush that was so jacked, I had to tweet Too Faced about it. Hopefully, my experience with this new tube will turn out better than the first time.
Vitabath Coconut Noir Body Wash ($8.99)
I usually use a lavender-scented for my evening showers, but I was looking for something new. I absolutely loved the Vitabath Lavender Chamomile, so I am hoping the feeling will be the same for the Coconut Noir.
Cardholders Earn 3X Points – August 21st – 23rd

Since I don’t have the Ulta credit card, I missed out on this offer. It’s probably better for my wallet. However, I didn’t have to leave this event empty-handed because Ulta sent a discount code for members to be The Original Beautyblender ($20) for $13. I couldn’t resist!
