What I Hauled During the Sephora Welcome Back Sale

To encourage us to get back into stores, Sephora bribed enticed us with their impromptu Welcome Back Sale. From August 14th to August 23rd, all levels of Beauty Insiders received $20 off a $100 purchase or $15 off a $75 purchase. You could use it only one time online, but there was no limit when shopping in store because they obviously want people to visit physical Sephora locations. To further entice folks to stores, there were plenty of prizes and giveaways. Since most of the products I wanted are only available online, I hauled products that met my most immediate needs. Turns out what I needed most at the moment was hair care with a drop of skin care.

Adwoa Beauty Baomint Deep Conditioning Treatment ($36)

One of my favorite hair brands in the past few years has been Qhemet Biologics, and I am sad it has been discontinued at Sephora. The good news is it seems like I’ve found a suitable replacement in Adwoa. I’m already using their Moisturizing Curl Defining Cream, so I was more than willing to try the deep conditioner. I bought this to use after finishing the Carol Daughter’s Coco Crème Curl Quenching Deep Moisture Mask. I love the tingly feeling from the Adwoa Cream, and I hope the deep conditioner also give me the tingly scalp I always enjoy.

Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind Banana + Coconut Nourishing Superfood Conditioner ($28)

I am almost finished with the Carol Daughter’s Coco Crème Creamy Conditioner that I’m currently using for a pre-poo treatment. When I’m finished with the Carol’s Daughter conditioner, the Briogeo is next. The Briogeo conditioner doesn’t seem as rich and creamy as the Carol Daughter’s conditioner, but I’m hoping it will still be nourishing to my low porosity dry 4C coils because of the banana and coconut.

Laneige Cream Skin Mist ($27)

Since I started following LABeautyologist’s skincare advice of spraying your face with a hydrating toner between each routine step, I’ve been exploring mists and flying through them. I have also been wanting to try the Laneige Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer for the longest time. The Cream Skin Mist is basically the original Cream Skin in mist form, so I get the best of both worlds. I definitely see this product becoming a staple in my skincare routine.

Rossano Ferretti Parma 3.2 Intenso Moisturising and Smoothing Shampoo Mini ($14)

This was purchased just to get me to $100, so I could get the $20 off $100 discount. It usually takes me what feels like forever to finish a regular size bottle of shampoo, so I’ve recently started using mini sizes. It may seem expensive on an per ounce price, but finishing a product in a reasonable amount of time is priceless. I’m excited to try this bougie shampoo that is made in Italy using the finest natural ingredients when I finish the Klorane Travel Size Shampoo with Oat Milk.
