New year, same haul! I wasn’t expected to have this big of a haul, but the deals had me singing another tune. Keep reading to see where I went and what I spent my coint on during the first month of 2021!
Current Body
Just when I thought all was lost when it came to my Clarisonic Mia, Current Body came to the rescue! Since September, I have been worrying about having to put my device out to pasture. Somehow the beauty gods guided me to the only place where I can still find brush heads. I got the Clarisonic Sensitive Brush Head and also decided to get the Clarisonic Radiance Brush Head to see if I love the new Radiance brush just as much as the original. To guarantee that free shipping, I decided to try the Clarisonic Radiance Firming Milk Cleanser.

Nordstrom
I used a $15 Nordstrom gift card to order the much-hyped Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Primer & Highlighter. I bought the newest shade 8 Dark, but after being able to compare shades 7 Dark and 8 Dark in person at Sephora, 7 Dark is actually be the better shade for me to use as a highlighter, so as soon as it arrived, I went to Nordstrom to exchange 8 for 7. I’m super excited to use this in my routine, and I can’t wait to share that experience with y’all! Originally, I planned to use the gift card to buy the BeautyBlender Pocket Puff Dual-Sided Powder Puff, but it sold out quickly. Lucky for me, it came back in stock, and I didn’t hesitate to haul it! Although not planned, I also bought a pair of shoes at Nordstrom Rack. When you where a Size 12 shoe like I do, you always have to keep your eye out for a good pair of shoes. That means I couldn’t resist these leopard booties! I’m gonna rock the hell outta them and stunt on these heaux.
Sephora
During Sephorathon 2020, I partook in the Sale on Sale, but I waited until the last day to make sure I didn’t go overboard and to make sure the purchases counted toward 2021. I got the Sephora Collection Face Mask in Aloe Vera, Coconut, and Rose because the Sephora sheet masks are pretty, pretty, pretty good. The Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Moisture from Head to Toe Set was a deal I couldn’t resist, and YouTube Fave, Tina from The Fancy Face, convinced me to try the BeautyBlender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation. She has been singing its praises, so I’m looking forward to trying this foundation. Hopefully, I enjoy it as much as Tina.
Strolling through Sephora at JCPenney, I scored the Natasha Denona Mini Gold Palette for 30% off and the Sephora PRO Core Diffuser #94, which was a whopping 50% off! This brush is definitely the replacement for the brush that I had to toss last month. Once again, the beauty gods smiled upon me and blessed me with an irresistible deal.
Having another one of my Drybar Hold Me Hair Clips break (bringing me down to only two clips) inspired another Sephora Haul. Now that I know those Drybar Clips break very easily, I decided to get the two packs of the Sephora Hold It Together Alligator Jaw Clips instead. In order to get the Beauty Insider Brush Holder gift with purchase, I also bought the Saturday Skin Intensive Hydration Mask, The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density, and the BECCA Cosmetics Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation.
Target
Thanks to the beau getting me a bunch of cases, I decided to buy the Apple Airpods with Wireless Charging Case on sale at Target before they sold out. After seeing this tweet, I decided to also peruse the makeup section. There wasn’t a lot on clearance, but I did find the Makeup Obsession Lightning Glow Illuminating Fixing Spray, the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Concealer (I got Cappuccino, but I’m not sure if that’s even my right shade), and the Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm.
Ulta
I am trying not to go balls to the wall at Ulta in Q1 like I did last year, but they really make it quite difficult. It started with the $5 off $10 coupon and the 5X points on Too Faced. I hauled the Too Faced Mr. Perfect Foundation Brush and Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Mini Eyeshadow Palette, which was also already 50% off the original price. I love getting deals on deals!
Of course, I had to haul something on Platinum Perks Day. Although I wasn’t too excited about the Diamond Gift, the Too Faced Damn That’s Sexy Mascara Set, it was hard to resist. For my $25 buy-in, I got not one, but two of the Banila Co Dear Hydration Mask since the Banila Co brand was BOGO 40%, the Acure Seriously Soothing Serum Stick that has been a staple in my skincare routine for months, the ZitSticka Killa Kit 4 Pack, which was 50% off during the Love Your Skin Event, and the Neuma Travel Size neuMoisture Shampoo that put me over the $25 limit.

This wasn’t the end of me taking advantage of the Love Your Skin Event. I also bought the Clinique Take the Day Off because that doesn’t go on deep discount too often. Also, I want to see if my feelings toward these products have changed since I last used them. During a random trip to Ulta, I found the MAC 170 Rounded Slant Brush in the Last Chance Section. I also found the Too Cool for School Pumpkin 24K Gold Mask, but it was actually regular price.
World Market
Like Nordstrom Rack, I always find cool beauty stuff at World Market. This time was no different. I bought the Rated Green Tamanu Oil Soothing Scalp Pack and The Crème Shop Retinol Face Mask and got a free small bag of coffee.
