I don’t know when this happened, but Target has recently become one of the best box stores to find amazing stuff that celebrate Black people and our culture during Black History Month. Last year, I got the Famous Black Inventors Mug. It was a fluke finding that mug, and a lot of my finds this year were flukes as well. I walked into Target on a cold January day and walked out with some of my best Black History Month buys ever!

The Lip Bar Vegan Everyday Eyeshadow Palette
The Lip Bar display at Target included both lipgloss and eyeshadow. Since I am not really into glosses at the moment, I decided to grab one of the quads. There were only a few available. Ebony Eyes was the one that spoke most to me.
Mented Cosmetics Semi-Matte Lipstick
For what seems like years, I have been hearing absolutely nothing but rave reviews about Mented Cosmetics. When I saw their lipsticks on display at my local Target, I knew I couldn’t leave without getting one. I had no idea which color to pick, so I picked Brand Nude. I can never have too many nude lippies, and I know Mented knows nude is not just some chalky beige shade.
